Calm The Three Spirits Qigong Meditation To Calm The Mind (Snippet) | San Shen Hui Shou
Follow my voice and enjoy this short extract from the very special Qigong meditation called "Calm The Three Spirits" (San Shen Hui Shou).
This is an excellent exercise for maintaining health. It utilises the potential energy from the body and has the same frequency as the body so can quickly and effectively bring 'excitement' from the brain down to the lower abdomen (Dan Tian area) leading to a fresh mind and refreshed brain producing a relaxed state. This effect is called changing the EXCITING POINT from the brain to Dan Tian.
RELAX to allow free flow of Qi. This helps to expand the channels and vessels and improves circulation (if you are nervous, tense or anxious the channels shrink). It leads to a feeling of less tiredness, calms the heartbeat and generally makes you feel better. 😁
INTEGRATION INTO YOUR DAY
Once you have practiced this exercise a few times you will find it very quick to bring yourself into the Qigong state. You will be able to bring the Exciting Point down from the brain to Dan Tian in a matter of a few breaths, just by thinking about Dan Tian. Once you can do this then you can practice this exercise anywhere at any time, whenever you think of it. Eventually, you will find yourself in the Qigong state for most of the day!

    Can this also cause numbness on the check area along with pain?

    • @JaniceSpaceToRelaxQigong
      @JaniceSpaceToRelaxQigong 4 дні тому

      Possibly Gary. Numbness could indicate a lack of the smooth flow of Qi through the area or “Dampness” in Chinese Medicine terms, which also inhibits the smooth flow of Qi.

  • @AndyMercer
    @AndyMercer 5 днів тому

    When you say "in your mind draw the Qi back to.. " how do you visualise that ?

    • @JaniceSpaceToRelaxQigong
      @JaniceSpaceToRelaxQigong 5 днів тому

      Great question Andy. You imagine a pathway of Qi flow from one point to the other and in this exercise use the inhalation to help with visualising this. I think of the pathway like a road or river and think of the flow of Qi as traffic or water moving in a certain direction (whichever works best for you in your mind). One important point is to avoid focusing too hard on making this happen as that can give you a headache! Be almost ‘sloppy’ in your thinking; that way you’re able to allow the Qi to flow in a certain direction rather than forcing. I hope that helps. 😀

      @@JaniceSpaceToRelaxQigong Many thanks. Can I ask more questions or do I need to sign up to do that ? I am quite happy for you to use this for a Q&A section on your website. The movements and hand positions seem quite precise. Is it better to do a regular routine of exercises 50% correct or fewer and try to get them 90% plus right ?

    Thank you for explaining and guiding through this technique. It helped out so much! I do have a question… physiologically, how does this acupoint help the nausea sensation? I’m very curious about why this works. And also, I wish doctors were more knowledgable instead of prescribing anti-nausea medicine (which for me - doesn’t work that well, thus my searching for another way.)

I am not sure yet what autoimmune i have until i see the doctor again. For now, I feel morning my legs from knee to feet feel like no blood circulation. I also may think it may be due to sleep apnea. It's weird. For 2 weeks, I have been sleeping on my left side and have helped. But today, I started the same feeling again. Cold like feeling on legs. It has gone through the day. ive had a hot right foot slightly tingly when i walk on it and the pain after about half a mile walking goes into the hip..had it about a year and i actually found this point before i knew about it because it was very tender so i will give it a try each day and see what happens..i've also been reading about high oxalate foods which can cause problems like spinach and nuts and seeds,dark chocolate so maybe time to eliminate these foods

      @@masonfreeparty yes that’s the point Fuyang on the bladder channel. Sometimes is a point is tender it can mean that you will really benefit from massage of that point but go easy and don’t cause yourself pain during the process. 😊
